Slijedimo i propise o socijalnom distanciranju i dezinfekciji.

UPS Response to Coronavirus
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major changes and created numerous challenges in global business, and transportation is certainly one of the most affected categories.
Express Courier d.o.o. Authorized Service Contractor for UPS is providing an official statement from UPS headquarters regarding measures taken to prevent the spread of coronaviruses, and how the pandemic affects service and business.
‘’The US Department of Homeland Security, as well as other public authorities around the world, have declared transport and logistics as critical infrastructure, and we are currently serving our customers as usual. Despite the recent border closures in many countries, we are still able to fulfill shipments for our customers, except where we may be unable to deliver due to exceptional government restrictions. Some parcel deliveries may not be possible due to the closure of shops and businesses, or restrictions in various postal codes, in which case parcels will be returned to sender. The situation continues to change on a daily basis, but our global smart logistics network enables us to adjust and deploy contingency plans to safely meet our service commitments as conditions permit.
The UPS Foundation has expanded its response to the novel Coronavirus, including new grant allocations, surpassing $6 million to United Nations agencies, humanitarian relief partners and community-based non-profit and international non-government organizations. This support includes in-kind transportation, supply chain consultation, and cash contributions to expedite the distribution of personal protective equipment for healthcare workers and other life-sustaining activities for impacted individuals and communities. In collaboration with our relief partners, UPS’s global freight forwarding network has already delivered more than 2 million masks to relief workers in China. Additional relief efforts brought that total to over 4 million masks.
We are asking every UPS employee and subcontractor to take necessary precautions out of an abundance of caution. We have hygiene protocols in place that are in line with suggested WHO measures. We are also following social distancing and disinfecting protocols. Customers are also no longer obliged to sign for deliveries, with the exception of some specialized deliveries where we have a contractual obligation to get a signature. If any employee experiences symptoms such as fever or respiratory infection, they are directed to seek medical attention immediately in line with government recommendations’’.
